LATEST UPDATE: New Perodua Myvi facelift launched in Malaysia
Alot of people have been asking what colours are the Perodua Myvi available in so here’s some photos for you guys. These photos are from the media review and test drive track session held by Perodua at the Sepang International Circuit. So here’s the Myvi rainbow, there are 7 colours. Not the same as the colours of the rainbow of course. Your choices are Ebony Black, Klasik Gold, Glittering Silver, Mocca Silver, Ozzy Orange, Mistik Red and Olive Green.

I personally dig the Mistik Red and Ebony Black ones… they look absolutely hot! Just imagine a black Myvi, polished nicely to a blinding shine, full side skirts and front lip, nice sports rims, coming around the corner with HID lights… absolutely delicious!
In case any of you are wondering how the Mistik Red would look like with a bodykit, like TRD’s bodykit… check this baby out. Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous?

Black is delicious..with nice bodykits, it’ll be tantalizing!

hey anybody notice the front light shapes are not the same between the Red Daihatsu (bottom largest pic) and the front lights in the Perodua version? this is sad. I hope perodua can update those lights, the daihatsu has sharper shape for the lights.

Like it, but won’t buy it due to the long waiting list of buyers. Our National cars can actually do a hundred times better, if they can only plan better to decrease buyer’s frustration in the waiting time. Who wanna buy a car and wait some 6 mths for it? To cut the long waiting list, 1st thing our Govt. must do, is to sack all Perodua’s (for that matter, Proton, too) top management. They’re lousy planners with poor business sense. How can we compete with such incompetent planners?

K.C: the waiting list for this car is only 3 months currently. you can expect it to be shorter once the backlog of pre-launch orders is cleared.

It’s a real let down. The copy version (myvi) looks worse than original product (Toyota Passo). Just look at Passo head lamp is more serious, good looking and clean cut. My-Vi, headlamp looks very confuse, messy and too oversize for its overall size. Engine cover is really bad looking compare to Passo. My-vi engine cover looks childish & girlish especially front end. Real guys out there, I am sure you don’t want to be seen driving this sissy looking car.

i am driving kenari ezi and every weekend travel over 400km to and pro. Do u think Myvi can durastrong enough to meet my requirement..i dont care how does it look but what i care is internally. DONT JUDGE THE BOOK BY ITS COVER.. meaning less specifications bring headache and illness to the people who trying to survive on the road and destination.

of it own’s. So if want everything class -powerful engine – leather seat … then sell your house or borrow money from chetty to customise your car or get advice from Paul Tan . Ignore those negetive comments from competitors …… sudah kecut …

If you choose Silver you have to register your Myvi in PERAK . State of PERAK …but produce tons of TIN. How about other colours…? The best advice get from the best man in auto industry is Paul Tan.

SECRET …, congratulations for making a right decision to booked a Myvi…. Are you sure now the booking has reached 10 thousand units. Sure or not…..? I not worried . .. PERODUA backed by TOYOTA/ DAIHATSU expertise can do it…. they….. BOLEH…! What worries me is the COMPETITORS salesmen . .. I think they sudah kecut…( affraid ) sales sudah drop . They will go out to tell negative things about Myvi. Don’t fall into their trap. They are frustrated , and don’t expect PERODA / DAIHATSU / TOYOTA to produced such a compact car. So SYABAS for making the right
decision . To customise your car, you can scout arround town -Sunway- Pandan or Klang . Make sure don’t gadai ( pawn ) all barang emas or borrow from Pak Long / Mak Long.

Dear ST Loh, …if you want to make a comparison between Toyota Paso and Myvi it is not much different . Take for example a Chinese and a Japanese guy they look alike then maybe a slightly different . Or a Malaysian and an Indonesian guy
I think you can differentiate these 2 guys. For example a Malaysian Batek and an Indonesian batek look different then. So if you want compare Myvi and Paso they almost the same but slightly different .As you may know Daihatsu is part of Toyota.
Toyota Paso is.. Toyota . Perodua Myvi is.. Perodua. Take for example twins brothers they look alike but slightly different in many things . Anyway you have
the right to make comments .. this an open forum but make sure
you have done your homework before making comments . Don’t corrupt those guys not to book a Myvi. I think you are a Toyota
salesman . ST Loh …,, UMW Toyota and Perodua Daihatsu are brothers , end off the day either one gained something out of nothing . Don’t kecut . If you are a TOYOTA salesmen go out look for new prospects Toyota have many new models – Innova-Avanza- to sell. Don’t be a kaki sibok. If you are not a salesman buy your self a Paso then. I like would to forward this mail to a frustrated and done no home guy name K C. I think K C is another frustrated salesman or a selfish guy (maybe not a Malaysian ) like to condemned those guys in PERODUA. These bunch of guys in PERODUA/DAIHATSU/ TOYOTA are good planners to sell cars . KC …, may I ask you if you don’t mind.. did you brush your teeth or wash your mouth before sending your emal…? Where on earth a company such as PERODUA do not plan before
producing Myvi….?. I am not siding or in favor of PERODUA. The planners at PERODUA/DAIHATSU/TOYOTA have done a good job . Can you tell me any auto company in this region recieved thousand of bookings before MYVI was launched. They have done fantastic marketing plan for MYVI. Selling cars in MALAYSIA is fantastic. Propects booked cars without seeing it. Can you tell me….. is this no good planning ..?
I think you don’t plan what you want to talk about . Let me tell you as of today the booking for MYVI is 11,000…. . It is 11,000 .How come bad planners gained this bookings. As you may know genuine prospects( buyers ) are willing to wait for their cars no
matter how long it is. May I correct your statement it is not 6 months for the buyers to get their MYVI, maybe 3 months
as announced by PERODUA. I would to remind you when PROTON launched WAJA buyers
have to for months yet buyers still wiat for it. I believe PERODUA / DAIHATSU backed by TOYOTA expert planners wiii fullfill the demand. Don’t put rubbish in this columns and to try corrupt the MYVI prospects.

faktor ori design bukan penentu mutlak y people suka pada sesuatu produk tu…tiru tak tiru pun bukan faktor penting…kalau harga affordable (what is affordable?) dan berkualiti tentu orang suka, yak kira lah buatan Malaysia atau tidak…kita semua pakai HP…kalau tak ada jenama kat benda tutentu kita tak tahu yang mana satu Nokia, Motorola, Sienems, dan entah apa-apa lagi…tak tanya pun itu buatan jepun ke? German ke? Taiwan ke?….tapi kalau kita nak stail tentulah pilih yang ada nama (kalau boleh biar nampak besar-besar kat benda tu tapi ramai di antara kita cuma guna benda tu untuk basic usage saja, tak guna pun sophisticated features pun…
so, tiru is not the problem nor Malaysian made is…yang penting mesti ada kualiti dan markteing strategi yang mampu untuk menembusi pasaran antarabangsa…with a coorect approach and less “turkeys” we should be able to soar like like an eagle in the future…perhaps first we must slowly erradicate these “turkeys” huh?…

Savvy ke…Myvi ke…glad that most Malaysian will be driving them soon…the money will at stay in the country that have provided alot of jobs…Myvi is rather fortunate because its record is okay rather than the bad publicity that most people have given…memang being an ex Proton user I do faced some problems but not all that have been mentioned by dislikers but have no major complains…at the moment though I prefer MYvi and if a savvy pass me I’ll just raise my hands and say hi my friend…not that I hate Savvy but love MYvi better…so, all Savvy owners best of luck and don’t just drive pass if you see Myvi stranded onthe sides…wars are not created by hardwares but people like us…

..most males would prefer black as it is more macho…ladies usually go for red, gold mostly…ini kata salesman yang jal banyak MYvi…maybe if you decide to chose green, it will be much more less on the road and thus quite unique..but maybe as you say this colour maybe outdated fast…frankly my eyes say that green is not for me…its a mateer of choice, anyway…make sure that you are happy with it…good luck, my friend (glad to know your choice, anyway)…

Perodua Myvi nie.. bagus dan bakal laris di pasaran antarabangsa, kalau Kerita ‘Proton’ ia boleh di ketegorikan ‘Proton Wira’ kerana reka bentuknya menyerupai dengan ‘Daihatsu Sirion’ 04/05, Saingan terdekatnya ialah ‘Proton Savvy’ ianya akan lebih laris lagi sebagaimana dengan kerita national yang lain. K Ozzmis, kalau memilih warna nie senang je, k kita tolong pilihkan warna kombanasi yang terbaik adalah ‘Merah’ yang Ozzmis sedia tengok tu pada Myvi merah adalah menyerlah lagi pernampilanya kerana ianya agak esstream k, kita sendiri pilih warna merah tapi cawangan lai tau.. heh heh kita ‘Proton Wira Special Edition’ 04.. merah adalah berani & bersifat jujur dalam semua kerja baik dalam kondisi maupun kepuasan diri k.. itu jer byee..

Kalau naik harga juga, tak jadilah beli MYvi dulu…dahlah petrol naik, kereta pun mahu naik…forget about owning a 2nd car…naik aje my present old junk…kalau rosak, naik bas aje…p2, tak payahlah naik harga…ni pun dah cukup membebankan..kalau u all kat sana tak fikir pasal kita orang (Malaysia) siapa lagi..will support u setakat termampu tapi tak mahulah tanggung hutang bank banyak2…please…

sapa nak ful set body kit Toyota Passo Modellista TRD. saya dah 85% converted to passo bady kit tapi tinggal enjin saja. kalau nak masuk enjin tukar YRV atau Toyota Starlet EP82 @ EP91. Kos tukar enjin dalam RM8,000/-. Rim kalau nak tukar 15in 195/55/15 @ 195/50/15 @ 205/45/16. gua pakai (SSR) rim japan tayar full set 195/55/15 Potenza Japan. Body kit sudah habis RM 9,500/- yang ini bukan beli kedai potong tapi orden dari japan siap ada Tax Letter dar kastam!!. saya hanya beli MYVI yang paling murah (1.0) SR. warna merah. Colour bila semua siap baru cat balik color pearl white. kalau nak join sila email saya. suspention pun sudah tukar kepada TIEN Adjustable (RM 3,250). Best giler. tapi gua cakap betul spare part memang mahal GILER!!!.

alooo……wa malaysian….n wa guna proton (keta buatan malaysia)…tp wa ada skit komen la….pasal perodua model ni,wa memang terima la model2 baru ni..cuma bila di fikirkan bahawa perodua dah 12 tahun dalam industri
keta ni….tapi tiap kali keluar model baru ada saja yang kurang sempurna(pattern)..contoh Myvi bg wa…depan ok…tp malang belakang cam tk seimbang….ini menyebabkan pembeli mula mencari jalan altenative cam mana nk jadikan lebih cantik(aksesori)..dimana model2 ini terpaksa melaui proses ubah suai bagi memenuhi citarasa pemilik(melibatkan kos2 tertentu)..ini bermakna masih ada ketidaksempurnaan pada setiap model terkini….mengapa harus terjadi?….seolah2 indah kabar dari rupa…..tapi bagi wa yg penting adalah kualiti tul tak..tak kisah lah apa orang mau cakap pasal keta2 malaysia dibanding buatan luar negara.. yang penting kita mau sokong industri keta kita…last kali wa mau ckp kalu mau cakap pasal kualiti
mesti mau betul2 kualiti (performance &design)…baru la boleh saing sama keta import…ada betul ka….pasal wa memang tara suka tokok tambah wa punya kereta…..standard maaaa……wang mau simpan…sekarang kita punya wang sudah kecik lor…..kalu lain orang banyak wang …itu lain cerita laa…betul ka?…hahahahaha ….ada komen ka?

i’ve place a booking fee for a new myvi SE model at a local showroom,pending for a bank loan of a 90% since a month ago. banks reply was so frustrating saying that my age 67 is too old to be given a loan for the booking. they need a gaurantor for this loan to be approved. looking at my strong bank account i dont think they need a gurantor for this purpose.so now my bookoing had been held up for already a month.so now will somebody please advise me what should i do just in case i insist of not using any gauranter to approve my loan.
