VIDEO: New BMW ActiveHybrid X6 in motion

The BMW ActiveHybrid X6 isn’t about saving the world. It’s about recovering every bit of energy that could have wasted as you’re barrelling towards a corner and braking hard to prepare for it, and using that power to help you get out of that corner faster. It’s an X6 with a KERS booster system. It’s also meant to give the owner that feel-good factor of driving in EV mode.
When the ActiveHybrid X6 and ActiveHybrid 7-Series were unveiled on BMW’s press site simultaneously a few days ago, only the 7-Series had beauty footage accompanying its press pack. The X6 hybrid not have any video, until now that is.

I think Toyota’s SynergyDrive (used in the Prius) is more advanced technically. Am I right, Paul?

Boring video..I hate those Ah Pek voice and the graphics sucks. Potential buyers won’t watch this video nor get interested in the technical features of this Hybrid X6.
Buy, I love the body and the power dome.

Good to know that Hybrid can be FUN/Pleasure to drive. Hear that Prius? you don’t have to be a hippie high on greeness to be nice to the environment.

ermm, we cant say the Hybrid Synergy Drive is more advanced..more ’sophisticated’ might be the right word to describe..toyota’s hybrid system is to use less fuel..on the other hand, the same system is to boost the power in Lexus..BMW still stand on its point of view–sheer driving pleasure…use the motors to generate more power~
