Yet another batch of photos of the Proton Preve Hatchback, this time courtesy of reader Ahmad Zamani Zakaria, who snapped two clad evaluation mules on the Karak Expressway heading towards Kuala Lumpur, on the stretch between Genting Sempah to the Gombak toll plaza.
The black unit is of course a familiar sight, having been seen in previous outings, as is that in white. The metallic blue example, however, hasn’t been seen before, not in our spypix at least, so now we know that blue is one of the shades available for the car.
Just over a month ago, a trailer load of the five-door hatch was caught on camera, but it has been relatively quiet since then. Still no hint of when the launch will be, but with the month of Ramadan coming up very soon, it’s likely to be August at the earliest.
Until then, we’ll still have to make do with Theophilus Chin’s render of the Preve Hatchback – based on a leaked pix of the hatchback’s rear end that circulated online sometime back – to offer a view of what the car (and its rear) will shape up like. Expect more spyshots of the car to come about as it piles on the testing miles.
