Our automotive content network also includes InfoKereta.com, a Bahasa Malaysia automotive news website and oto.my, an automotive classifieds site.

Position: Assistant Manager, Business Development

In line with our growth plans, we are currently seeking an assistant manager in business development to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for the group whilst maintaining and growing existing business.

Responsibilities

Manage business development duties for all of the company’s product and services
Establish and develop relationships with key clients and partners with a view to grow existing accounts
Seek and grow revenue from new clients and market sectors
Generate ideas and proposals for clients based on their requirements
Carry out digital advertising operations and solutions
To ensure that all projects are delivered within given deadlines and requirements

Skills and Experience

Strong background in business development or marketing (or with an agency’s background) preferable
Experience in digital advertising sales in any of these fields – automotive retail, digital media, online publications, project management
Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
Highly motivated and self starter
Target and goal focused
Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines
Strong organisational skills, particularly reporting
Good interpersonal skills and able to work well within a team
Accustomed to Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Familiar with online social platforms and web services is a bonus
Minimum diploma or degree in any field.
At least three years of working experience in the related field
Must possess a valid driving licence and own transport
