Only twenty out of the twenty four teams completed the race, and Team Australia had to enter the pit twice after losing some bodywork on the first pit and a left tyre puncture for the second pit.
Team Malaysia’s Fairuz Fauzy set a personal best finishing eighth for A1 Team Malaysia this weekend, the perfect engagement gift for himself as he’d also just announced his engagement.
BTW, there was a pit with Team Russia’s logo on it, but I don’t see them anywhere in the race results. Not even part of the teams which did not complete the race. Maybe they got drunk on vodka.

Alex yoong? where is his result?
wee great result
fairzu fazury engaged?if i not mistaken his just below 20 yrs old rite?
wow young man soo commited laio!
Team Russia pulled out of the race in the last minute I think. The pit you saw with team Russia's logo was probably from one of the earlier qualifyers.
Now same level playing field, Alex Yoong shows that he can actually compete. I guess we can give him a benefit of the doubt why he couldn't compete in F1 was because of his car, not his abilities.
But I have to say, among the races I've seen (the early ones in the A1 season), especially the sprint races, Alex has been quite conservative and not aggresive enough. I haven't seen the last few races, but I think it would be better to give a little bit more during the sprint races, mix it up a bit with the other leading teams.
Was that Fairuz's first outing in A1 GP? Quite impressive got 8th. Kudos! Keep it up!
