Two French brands have teamed up to make a concept design set for a Paris preview. This will be Lacoste and Citroen with their new Citroen Lacoste Concept.
The car is motivated by a three-cylinder engine, which Citroen says provides “plenty of performance for a vehicle of its weight and size”. This is because its about the size of a Toyota Aygo or Citroen C1 and measures in at about 3.45m long, 1.80m wide and 1.52m high.
As you would expect, design of the car mainly concentrates on the whole Lacoste theme. This is seen on the car which sports “golf ball-styled” set of alloy wheels and parts of the body that resemble tennis nets.
They complement the unique feature roof, which is a structure that extends back to the boot like a convertible Jeep. Adding to that is the door-less architecture that gives it a roomy feel. Check out the picture gallery after the jump.

Cute… But not really practical (yet) :P
why most of the concept car like this? just like an architect dream..
when I read the word Lacoste, I can only think of the ‘crocodile brand’ clothes… hahaha
Limau Buaya. You’d think that by now they would change their name from a ‘lemon’?
should design a proper car rather than this golf buggy…..
this car really suitable for play golf use….it should be golf vehicle use….
Lucky they didnt design it to look like a shoe.
Are U sure this concept will work? What’s purpose of the pillar-like roof … to be towed by helicopter? I think it’s more like a piece of art works then engineered product.
it adds regidity to the structure , thats why….anyway , its an designers wet dream concepts like this !
my first Impression, It’s like an Seterika with roda..
beautiful!
I want one!!!!!
i like the rims….i dunno why
not beautiful….
