Introducing Team Hyundai, a five-man ambassador team for the Korean carmaker at the upcoming UEFA EURO 2012 tournament. Football fans will need no help, but for the benefit of all, they are Iker Casillas (Spain), Lukas Podolski (Germany), Giuseppe Rossi (Italy), Karim Benzema (France) and Daniel Sturridge (England).
The fab five will fulfil their roles as ambassadors through a series of marketing activities as part of Hyundai’s promotions and campaigns for EURO 2012. In addition, Hyundai will launch a new charitable initiative that supports young people and players to realise their ambitions.
By entering the dedicated application on Hyundai’s global Facebook page – www.facebook.com/Hyundaiworldwide – fans can ‘like’ their favourite Team Hyundai player. For every ‘like’, Hyundai will donate €1, and the company is targeting a total donation of €250.000.
Hyundai has been a partner of UEFA for more than 12 years, spanning four EURO tournaments. For the upcoming one in Poland and Ukraine, Hyundai will deliver a fleet of more than 350 vehicles to transport teams, VIPs and officials.
