Over in Britain, Mercedes-Benz has launched an AMG Sport Edition of the W221 S-Class. Based on the S 350 BlueTEC, this special edition adds an AMG bodykit, 20-inch alloys in a five twin-spoke design, painted brake callipers with Mercedes-Benz lettering, a panoramic sunroof and illuminated door sills.
The Black Ash Wood-trimmed interior is described rather alliteratively as “simultaneously serene and sporty.” The steering wheel is wrapped in wood and leather, while stainless steel studded sports pedals and AMG-branded floor mats.
Toys include a Harmon Kardon Front Seat Entertainment system with Split View (capable of separating display content between driver and front passenger), a total of 14 speakers and additional amplifiers, a set of headphones and remote control, plus DAB digital radio. Keyless go and a reverse camera are standard.
Prices start from just under £70k (RM336k), which is about £8,600 (RM41k) more than the regular S 350 BlueTEC. The next-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class is set to emerge later this year – see spyshots of the W222’s exterior and interior, or read about the technology that will go into it.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
The Nazi’s have done it again. Another superb car!
Yes.
But I cannot understand why people buy AMGs, when we can buy comfortable S-class, sporty high ride X6 and proper sports car Porsche separately.
May be taste different. Ada orang suka luxury condo, yang lain detached bungalow.
What do you think?
pity our malaysian can only buy e class with that price…
Yeah,I really pity those people with money.
*That was a sarcasm.
