The truly sexy Jaguar F-Type convertible will soon have a fixed top sister, as these patent filings show.
The Jaguar F-Type Coupe will share the soft top’s uniquely slim tail lamps and rear diffuser with quad tailpipes, but with a sloping roofline and broad shoulders. The rear end we see here reminds me a little of the BMW M Coupe based on the Z4. When it comes out, the F-Type Coupe will be one of those rare models where the convertible preceded the coupe.
Unveiled at Paris 2012, the front-engined, rear wheel drive Jaguar F-Type is powered by a 3.0 litre supercharged V6 (340 PS/450 Nm or 380 PS/460 Nm) or a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 with 495 PS and 625 Nm.
