Puspakom Mobile Inspection Unit to visit Maran, Pahang; Mersing, Johor and Besut, Terengganu

Next month, Puspakom‘s Mobile Inspection Unit will be visiting Maran, Pahang; Mersing, Johor and Besut, Terengganu for the convenience of customers seeking vehicle inspections in those areas.

The Mobile Inspection Unit will be stationed for two days in each location, operating from 8 am to 5 pm. The locations are Pekan Tajau night market in Maran, Pahang (June 2-3), Mersing Bus Terminal in Johor (June 9-10) and Mini Stadium Besut in Terengganu (June 13-14).

The mobile unit’s services encompass all mandatory inspections under the Land Transport Act 1987 except for Initial Inspection.

As such, Routine Inspections, Special Inspections, Ownership Transfer Inspections, Voluntary Vehicle Inspections and more can be carried out, involving checks on engine and chassis numbers, upper and lower vehicle inspection, brake and suspension tests and so on.

Inspection fees range from RM20 to RM75 (excluding 6% GST) depending on the type of inspection and vehicle, without additional charges. For instance, a Voluntary Vehicle Inspection costs RM40. Inspection reports will be issued to customers on the spot.

    I just wander why Puspakom is collecting GST also, there are government body rite? For the sake of rakyat can’t the wave it?

      puspakom is not govt body..it is subsidiary of drb-hicom which is glc

    i thought whenever u reveal any prices , it has to be inclsive of GSt ,as in ‘all in’ in order not to confuse customers….what a mess

    Wah,alto easier for rakyat,the element of corruption is bound to erupt.
    Even at fixed puspakom locations,we have reports of many ”fixed ” or kao tim cases .
    At these mobile locations,imagine how happy are those guys .
    After all,we cant blame these takung chai.
    1 female bank officer is punished with 6 years jail for stealing MH 370 victims money.Those bastards causing a 42 Billion debt are still walking around smiling.They say the top is shitcorrupted ,why can’t I ?
