German tuning house Mansory has decided to apply its touch on the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe. Dubbed the S 63 Coupe Black Edition, enhancements done to the big two-door Merc include both looks and a massive power boost. The coupe will be on display at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
It has been boosted to produce a heart-stopping 1,000 hp and a total of 1,400 Nm of torque. That’s actually a notable jump seeing that the “standard” AMG-tuned coupe makes 585 hp and 900 Nm from a 5.5 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. 0-100 km/h is done in 3.2 seconds (0.7 sec faster than stock 4Matic model) while top speed is electronically-capped at 300 km/h.
The exterior is decked out with a full carbon fibre body kit which includes custom spoilers, extended side skirts, wider scooped fenders on the side as well as extended side skirts. To top things off, the tuning house has decided to give it a ventilated hood as well as a rear wing round the back of the coupe.
No details on whether the suspension has been tweaked to support all that power; however the Black Edition coupe wears 22-inch “Spider” rims, wrapped in Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 255/30 rubber for the front and 295/25 tyres in the back. Only six Black Editions are to be built.
Brabus has a tuned S 63 AMG too, and their rendition makes 850 hp and 1,450 Nm. Mad tuners!

the numbers are impressive but not really usable on track..only can show off on drag racing which is quite boring
wonder if this Mansory S63 can outrun Tesla Model S in quarter mile.
Model S has made the challenger hellcat “tame”
the s-class coupe is already a beautiful machine, even more in non-amg guise…
mansory should have left the looks alone…
hoping a sultan would donate 1 for me..
Thats the point of such car…not about lap times but about bragging right and to serve the rich people whom think AMG cars are too tame.
0-60 3.2sec? Tesla model S P85d is faster 3.1sec in insane mode. ludicrous mode will be 2.9sec!
