On October 12 and 13, it was reported that a total of 17 highways were set to register a toll hike. The routes are the AKLEH, Besraya, DUKE, Grand Saga, Guthrie Corridor Expressway, Kajang SILK, Karak, LATAR, LEKAS, LKSA, MEX, NPE, SMART tunnel, Senai-Desaru Expressway, Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR), Sprint Expressway and the LDP Expressway – the new toll rates began from October 15.
Now, add the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) to the list to make it 18. The rates for the 51.7 km-long route E26, which is divided into three sections, were somehow missed during the initial flurry of announcements, but here they are to complete the entire hike announcement exercise.
Rates for Class 1 travel on the closed toll collection route are as follows. The journey to the Ayer Hitam toll from the SKVE Saujana Putra toll now costs RM2.40 (previously RM1.90, an increase of 50 sen), while that from Teluk Panglima Garang is RM4.50 (previously RM3.70, an increase of 80 sen) and from Pulau Indah, RM8.10 (previously RM6.70, an increase of RM1.40).
The toll rate for travel to the SKVE Saujana Putra toll plaza from Teluk Panglima Garang is RM2.70 (previously RM2.20, an increase of 50 sen), and from Pulau Indah, RM6.30 (previously RM5.20, an increase of RM1.10). As for travel between the Teluk Panglima Garang and Pulau Indah interchanges, road users now pay RM4.20 (previously RM3.40, an increase of 80 sen).

SKVE is a new highway. Why government kept signing the same agreement with the highway operator to increase toll every 3 years is beyond me!
