More toll hikes to kick start the day, it would seem. Beginning October 15, toll rates at all four plazas along the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) will be increased. Come this Thursday, Class 1 motorists will be required to pay RM2.10 at the Penchala, Petaling Jaya, Puchong (North) and Puchong (South) plazas – an increase of RM0.50 over the previous figure of RM1.60.

Class 2 motorists, on the other hand, will be asked to fork out RM4.20 as opposed to the old rate of RM3.20 – an increase of RM1. Class 3 motorists will be charged RM6.30 from Thursday, which marks an increase of RM1.50 over the old figure of RM4.80. Taxis will be charged RM1.10 instead of RM0.80 while buses will be required to pay the same amount of RM1.60.

Of course, the LDP wasn’t the only highway to receive a toll hike as numerous other highways were also subjected to the same situation. See the revised rates for most major highways here.
