Mitsubishi ASX and Mirage facelifts to debut in LA

Mitsubishi is set to unveil two world debuts at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month. Although not much information has been disclosed, the two vehicles in the teaser will most certainly be the updated versions of the Mitsubishi ASX and Mirage, as revealed on the event’s webpage.

The ASX, or Outlander Sport as it’s known in North America, was last given a minor facelift back in 2012. This, then, will be the second facelift for the crossover.

To the right of the first image above, is undoubtedly a Mitsubishi Mirage. Having been spotted covered in wraps just recently, the little eco hatchback will possess a larger, redesigned front grille and lower air intake. New side skirts might feature as well, while in the rear, LED rear lights will be a first.

Engine wise, the same 1.0 litre and 1.2 litre MIVEC petrol engines paired with either a five-speed manual or CVT transmission are expected to be carried over. Power outputs will also likely remain at 71 PS/88 Nm and 78 PS/100 Nm, respectively for each mill.
