The Mitsubishi Triton is a five-variant diesel pickup truck range for work users needing a two-seat single cab or families and crews wanting a five-seat 4x4. The third-generation model launched in 2024 and starts from RM101,980, with manual and automatic choices plus a higher-output Athlete Enhancement.
Triton in 2026 — what's new
The 2024 third-generation Triton carries into 2026 with Single Cab, GL MT, GL AT, AT Premium and Athlete Enhancement variants. Mitsubishi adds diesel support of up to RM15,000, while the AT Premium gets five years’ free service. A Championship Edition for AT Premium and Athlete versions marks the Triton’s Asia Cross Country Rally win, priced from RM156,000 to RM170,000. Japan also gains Performance Dampers on its sole GSR grade.

Which variant to buy
Most private buyers should choose the RM116,980 GL AT: it has five seats, AWD and an automatic gearbox for just RM2,000 more than the RM114,980 GL MT. The RM101,980 Single Cab is the straightforward work choice if two seats and a manual suit the job. The RM145,980 AT Premium costs substantially more, so check its equipment list carefully. Pay RM159,980 for the Athlete Enhancement only if its 201 hp output matters; the other variants make 179 hp.
