Triton in 2026 — what's new
For 2026, the regular Malaysian Triton range carries on from the 2024 launch line-up: Single Cab, GL MT, GL AT, AT Premium and Athlete Enhancement. The latest updates are commercial rather than a full model-year change, with up to RM15,000 diesel support and five years’ free service for the AT Premium. A Championship Edition also joins in AT Premium and Athlete forms, priced around RM156,000 to RM170,000.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should start with the GL AT at RM116,980. It gets the same 2.4 litre, 179 hp diesel as the Single Cab, GL MT and AT Premium, adds a conventional automatic over the RM114,980 GL MT, and keeps five seats. The RM101,980 Single Cab is for two-seat work use. Pay RM145,980 for the AT Premium only if its equipment list matters; on paper the mechanicals are unchanged. The RM159,980 Athlete Enhancement is the one with 201 hp.

The current Triton is a big reset after the previous model’s 10-year run in Malaysian showrooms. It is 55 mm longer, wears a square-cut front end and brings a significant redesign for this generation. It is not the cheapest way into a new pick-up: the Isuzu D-MAX, Nissan Navara and JMC Vigus Pro all start below it. But the Triton range covers basic work use through to a 201 hp Athlete Enhancement.
