The Lebuhraya Kajang Seremban (LEKAS) will be temporarily closed to all motorists from 5pm on April 30 until 3am of May 1. This is to make way for the RHB Shimano Highway Ride @ LEKAS 2016 night cycling event.
LEKAS COO Wan Salwani Wan Yusoff said around 19 junctions will be closed starting from the Kajang Selatan Interchange up to Paroi Junction, and that projected traffic that will be affected by the closure was around 50,000.
“Alternative routes have been identified, once the road closure takes place, southbound road users such as to Seremban, Senawang and Kuala Pilah are advised to use Federal Route 1 or PLUS Highway to continue their journey.
