The Subaru Forester 2.0i-S is the latest model to be introduced by Motor Image today, which comes with various aesthetics upgrades over other variants in the Forester range.
On the exterior, the 2.0i-S comes with a body kit that includes an under spoiler (with gunmetal accents) for both the front and rear bumpers. There’s also a different front grille design finished in black, along with gunmetal side mirrors.
Moving inside, faux carbon-fibre trim can now be found on the door cards, gear selector surround and dashboard. The seats are now upholstered in a combination of leather and suede (like the 2.0 XT), with red contrast stitching (also found in other areas). A set of model-specific floor mats (with red piping) completes the overall look.
As for the rest of the car, the equipment list is basically identical to that of the 2.0i-P. Therefore, items such as LED headlights (with LED DRLs), 17-inch wheels (with 225/60 tyres), dual-zone climate control system, powered rear liftgate and 7-inch Kenwood touchscreen head-unit can all be found here.
Similarly, the FB20 2.0 litre naturally-aspirated boxer four-cylinder petrol engine is retained, churning out 148 hp (150 PS) at 6,200 rpm and 198 Nm at 4,200 rpm. It is paired with a Lineartronic CVT and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, the latter with a SI Drive Mode function.
The safety kit is identical to all other Forester variants as well – seven airbags (dual front, sides and curtains, driver’s knee), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Hill Start Assist, ring-shaped reinforcement frame and ABS (with EBD and BA).
For now, no pricing has been announced for the Forester 2.0i-S as this is just a preview, but we’ve been told that the model will be launched soon.

Hello bodoh, how many Malaysians can afford RM150k? If reduce also, reduce cars like Myvi, Axia, Saga and Persona. Also Vios, City and Almera.

From the looks perspective, it is a little dated on both the exterior and interior. However, from the driving experience, safety, space and practicality etc, it is definitely the best in class. This is the first car that I have never paid attention before but fell in love with it immediately after the test drive.

You are only paying more for plastic add-on parts. Go buy the 2.0-iP instead. MI is offering the 2016 model at a huge discount. Very good deal.
