2017 sees Moto Guzzi make its Malaysian comeback

In Malaysia, Moto Guzzi appeared in fits and starts, typically let down by poor distributor and after sales support, despite a strong fanbase in this country. To redress that issue, Piaggio Asia Pacific, owner of the Moto Guzzi brand for this region, is re-introducing this famous Italian name, along with a 3S flagship store located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

With its tranverse V-twin layout, Moto Guzzi has always been something of an outlier in the motorcycle world. Known for its naked sports and cruisers in the previous decade, not many know that Guzzi used to have a reputation as a very capable cafe racer, culminating in the Battle of the Twins (BOTT) “Dr John” Special.

More details will be forthcoming closer to the event, with a media launch to introduce the 2017 Moto Guzzi range of motorcycles. For Moto Guzzi riders and fans, they can participate in the official Malaysian launch of Moto Guzzi by registering their interest on the MotoGuzziMY Facebook page.
