Hari Raya toll discount for LDP, Sprint, Kesas users

Motorists using the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) and Sprint Expressway will enjoy a discount of 60 sen and 20 sen respectively on the toll rate this Sunday (June 25) in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Bernama reports.

According to Litrak CEO Sazally Saidi, the discount will be given between 12 am and 11.59 pm on Sunday and is applicable to vehicles of all classes. He added that the highway concessionaire will also be giving a 10% discount on the toll rate for Class 1 vehicles on the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas) on Sunday.

He said about 451,000 LDP and Sprint users and around 220,000 Class 1 vehicles utilising Kesas are expected to benefit from the festive season discount, which Litrak has been running annually since 2010. “Between 2010 and 2016, almost RM10 million in toll subsidy was given to LDP, Sprint and Kesas expressway users during every festive period in Malaysia,” he stated.

      Why all this nonsense? Just give FREE for 2 whole days. After all this is a Muslim country and Raya is the main Festival.

      Also, each concessionaire make BILLIONS in clean profit each year. This is after payng bank loan and building costs. What is 2 days of FREE toll?
