Ever popular in the underbone motorcycle category is the Yamaha Y135LC, which has been updated for 2017 with four colour options – Blue, Red, Black and Silver – and a recommended selling price of RM7,167. The price for the Y135LC does not include road tax, insurance or registration, and the new colours are available immediately at authorised Hong Leong Yamaha Malaysia showrooms.

Carrying a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 134 cc power plant, the Y135LC is claimed to put out 11.97 hp @ 8,500 rpm and 11.79 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Fed by carburettor, the Y135LC has a four-speed rotary gearbox with automatic clutch and final drive is by chain.

Braking for the Y135LC is with a single disc on the front wheel and drum brake at the rear, and the bike comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels. Dry weight is said by Yamaha to be 105 kg, with the seat height set at 775 mm.

Fuel for the Y135LC is carried in a 4-litre tank located under the seat. Suspension is conventional, with a telescopic fork in front and Yamaha’s Monocross single shock at the back.

      Gomen should abolish GST on bikes cause the lower income brothers alredy suffer so much with high prices. RM7k is crazy!
