For the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Hyundai will introduce a trio of new technologies beginning with a next-generation hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicle.
The fuel cell EV, which will be named at the event, will be another addition to Hyundai’s eco-vehicle portfolio. The photos show a vehicle with an SUV body style, and Hyundai says it will come equipped with new Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technologies. Expect some form of autonomous driving to be part of the vehicle’s suite of systems, as previewed the self-driving Ioniq last year.
The company will also show a new interior approach it calls the Intelligent Personal Cockpit, which features artificial-intelligence-enhanced voice recognition and vital sign-based wellness care. The functions can be accessed with ease from the comfort of the driver’s seat.
Finally, Hyundai Life Vision represents the company’s desire to connect its progress on hydrogen-powered mobility to hydrogen-powered applications in the home. This will likely involve using fuel cell EVs to help power homes during emergencies for instance – when power grids are completely offline.

Hyundai used to be the butt joke 20 years ago. Everyone in Malaysia used to laugh at it.
Look where they are today. They not only sell 8 million cars globally, now they are researching into fuel cell EV.
I am shy of our car industry. Just 10 years younger than Hyundai and still cannot compete in the global market and still got no Hybrid, EV or PHEV when the whole world is moving towards EV
Iam ashamed kimchi still king of copy. Now copy Citroen. 70 over years of history and still cant design their own car. As an Asian, i am shy for them.
so advanced. that brand. people were being sceptical in 1991 when Hyundai name first appeared in Malaysia.
still keeping my Hyundai Sonata 1991 running good.
4G63T there…
Sonata did not exist in Malaysia before Berjaya Group brought them in around 2001.
Also, even a 2011 Sonata will now be worth less than scrap metal
So now with Audi design being too overused, they copy Citroen instead.
