The X253 Mercedes-Benz GLC facelift has been spotted undergoing testing yet again, and like our previous sighting, there’s images of the SUV’s exterior and interior as well. Some of the revisions seen here are reminiscent of what we’ve seen in the GLC F-Cell from Frankfurt last year as well as the updated W205 C-Class.
This is especially true of the interior, where we now see a larger display for the infotainment system, likely measuring 10.25 inches. Just like the other mule, there’s a new touchpad controller on the centre console that looks like the one seen in the W177 A-Class. Despite this, the GLC could miss out on the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) and continue on with a COMAND system, like the C-Class.
Elsewhere, there’s a new steering wheel with Touch Control and engine start button taken straight from the latest C-Class, along with a 12.3-inch digital display instrument cluster. Beyond these items, the rest of cabin looks pretty much unchanged from before.
As for the exterior, there’s no change to the overall shape of the GLC, although the wrapping on the front bumper and headlamps show there will be some updates in these areas. The latter could see the addition of optional Multibeam LED units as was the case with the facelifted C-Class.
