Malaysian motorcyclists will find it easier to get their rides serviced with the launch of the Petronas Sprinta mobile workshop. Touted as the first of its kind in the country, bikers can get a lubricant change, as well as oil and fuel filter replacement, depending on bike model.

The Petronas Sprinta mobile workshop will be located at motorcycle events, such as motor shows, biker gathering and motorsports events such as the Petronas Cub Prix. During these events, bikers can ride in for a lubricant change performed by trained Petronas technicians in a process estimated take about eight minutes.

Launched by Datuk Sri Syed Zainal Abidin, chief executive officer of Petronas Dagangan, the mobile workshop, adapted from a 20-foot container, provides Petronas Sprinta customers with a comfortable environment while waiting for services to be performed. “The mobile service workshop aims to provide our customers convenience and unique experience that is seamless,” said Syed Zainal.

Meanwhile, running in conjunction with the 2019 MotoGP season, the Petronas Sprinta Bonanza 2019 contest, was launched during the event. The contest will be held from 11 March to 30 September with prizes worth RM300,000 to be won, including a grand prize of a Yamaha R6 in Petronas Yamaha SRT racing livery and a second prize of a Yamaha YZF-R25.

Other exclusive prizes and Petronas Sprinta merchandise is available during the duration of the contest. Details are available from mymesra.com.my.
