NKVE emergency lane closure, every night till Dec 19

Take note, NKVE users. PLUS has announced that the emergency lane will be closed at KM18.63 northbound. This is to ensure safety for motorists as works to strengthen the structure of the culvert will be happening there.

The concessionaire says that the work is from now till December 19, starting 10pm every night. From the image, it looks like the Kota Damansara stretch opposite the Palm Springs condo, before the MRT crossing and Mitraland.

While it’s just the emergency lane that will be closed, bear in mind that lorries are very slow on this uphill section and the wide vehicles might eat into the other lanes to avoid the hoardings. Motorcycles might have to use regular lanes. Be alert and drive safe when in the area.
