The 47th ASEAN Summit that Kuala Lumpur will be hosting this week is set to be the largest meet of its kind organised by the regional block. Aside from leaders of ASEAN countries, world leaders headlined by US president Donald Trump will descend on KL for this edition.
Trump will be joined by Canadian PM Mark Carney, Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, South African president Cyril Ramaphosa, Cyprus president Nikos Christodoulides and Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. Brazil and South Africa will become Sectoral Dialogue Partners to ASEAN while the two European countries are set to become ASEAN dialogue partners.
The 47th ASEAN Summit could well be the biggest summit Malaysia has ever hosted, and KL city centre will be ‘on total lockdown’, with PDRM out in full force for security and traffic control, according to foreign minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan. Roads to and from the KL International Airport will also affected as the VIPs arrive, so it’s best to take the train.
In conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit, KLIA Ekspres and Transit services will operate with increased frequency between KL Sentral and KLIA from October 22-28. The non-stop Ekspres will have a frequency of 15 minutes from 9am to 9pm, and 20 minutes outside of that period. The KLIA Transit will have an extra service at 1am from KLIA2 to KL Sentral. Travellers, prepare earlier and take the train.

this train run by YTL never breaks down ,compare with the 1km long train between terminal1/2 run by mahb and pestech. so see the difference which type works is a massive improvement.
Yup. Aerotrain breakdown & not functional for years then replace with new and still broke down, then repair but break down again yesterday thanks to which gomen and which PM ?
gomen and PM didnt replace the train, train was worked on by mahb and their vendor pestech. so using your logic KLIA ekspres very reliable is it thanks to gomen and PM ?
So they were able to increase the train intervals but decided not to? With fat fares. When you see people taking grabs rather than the train, you can see what is the problem
obviously if you have more than 2 people toegther , and want to make the journey point till doorstep, then grab is the logical choice.
