GrabShuttle rolled out in Johor to support ETS launch

KTM’s ETS train service to JB Sentral starts today, December 12, with four services daily to KL Sentral. Grab says that it’s supporting the ETS roll out by providing passengers last-mile connectivity to and from JB Sentral station with GrabShuttle rides.

By integrating GrabShuttle with the ETS, Grab aims to improve travel accessibility for both local commuters and tourists, supporting national and state-level efforts to promote tourism in line with the Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Johor 2026 campaigns, the e-hailing company said in a statement.

“We hope GrabShuttle provides an affordable and accessible mobility solution for everyone. Grab remains committed to delivering safe, efficient, and user-friendly mobility solutions that complement national transport initiatives and strengthen community connections,” Grab added.

ETS KL Sentral to JB Sentral ticket prices start from RM82, and KTM is offering a 30% discount for tickets from December 12 to January 11, 2026 with the promo code JBBEST, which is limited to 5,000 uses.

With the opening of the tracks from Kluang to JB, the ETS will also stop at Rengam, Layang-Layang, Kulai and Kempas Baru before terminating at JB Sentral, so it’s also good news for those living in these southern towns. Check out the daily schedule here.
