The tax-free window for imported (CBU) EVs will not be extended after it closes at the end of 2025, which makes now the best time to get yourself a high-performance EV like the Lotus Eletre and Emeya at current prices.
Updated for the 2026 model year, both super EVs adopt a new naming scheme that introduces the ‘600’ variant to make them unbeatable value propositions, with the Eletre 600 retailing for RM499,000 while the Emeya 600 starts from RM459,000.

The Eletre 600 features a dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain packing 612 PS (450 kW) and 710 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 258 km/h. A 112-kWh (107 kWh usable) lithium-ion battery is standard across the SUV range, with support for DC fast charging up to 350 kW (10-80% in 20 minutes) thanks to 800V electrical architecture. WLTP range is between 530 and 600 km.
Meanwhile, the Emeya 600 also sports a dual-motor AWD powertrain, but the super sedan is faster to 100 km/h at just 4.15 seconds. With is 102-kWh battery, the range is up to 610 km.
