The road transport department (JPJ) has introduced JPJvBid, a digital platform that serves to manage public auctions of seized and forfeited vehicles. Available for download from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery, the JPJvBid app will require users to log in with their existing MyJPJ credentials or register for a new account via the official JPJ portal.
Once logged in, users can purchase an e-catalogue containing the vehicles offered for bidding, with each e-catalogue costing RM50 per auction series. E-catalogues will be available from RM50 per series, and the first auction session is scheduled for April 1 to 5 this year.
According to reports by Malay Mail and Business Today, JPJ Selangor will initially conduct a pilot auction featuring 30 vehicles comprising motorcycles, cars and scrap vehicles. Unlike in the past, physical vehicle inspections will no longer be permitted with the introduction of JPJvBid, which means bidders must base their decisions solely on the images and a vehicle rating report attached to each listing.
Within the app, users can check the e-catalogues that they have already purchased as well as their bidding history. Similar to JPJeBid for number plates, each listing contains details like the starting price and bid increment amounts.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said the launch of JPJvBid is a strategic move to enhance transparency, efficiency and integrity in disposing of impounded vehicles.

Agree with this, too many apps..unnecessary money spending to create new apps and server..even previously jpj have myjpj and jpjebid..now jpjvbid..should have integrate all into one apps only, n update app for additional function/features..phone also less semak with many apps.
want to see catalog also need to pay RM50. semua mau charge…. people see because they want to bid. if must pay to view catalogue, might as well no need to bid for it.

Its not that ppl cant afford, if u have used other auction app/service before u will know that their catalog is always free for viewing, viewing catalog doesnt necessary means need to place a bid. what if i bought a catalog and the session doesnt contain the car that i want?
