The Honda HR-V is a five-seat B-segment SUV for buyers who want front-wheel drive, automatic transmission and a choice of petrol or hybrid power. It starts from RM115,900 in 1.5 S form, with the range extending through Turbo E and V versions to the e:HEV RS hybrid.
HR-V in 2026 — what's new
The Honda HR-V enters 2026 as the 2025 facelift, launched with S, Turbo E, Turbo V and e:HEV RS variants. Its latest model update adds a 360-degree view camera to the V and e:HEV RS without changing their prices. The facelift also brings a wider grille and reprofiled front bumper; the RS gets matrix projector LED headlamps with active cornering lamps.

Which variant to buy
For most buyers, the RM137,900 1.5 V is the range’s focal point: it has the 179 hp petrol powertrain and now adds a 360-degree view camera. The RM130,900 1.5 E delivers the same 179 hp output for RM7,000 less, so check the equipment list before spending more. Choose the RM143,900 e:HEV RS for its 234 hp hybrid system, eCVT and 360-degree camera. The RM115,900 S is the entry route, with 119 hp.

Verdict
The facelift is an evolution rather than a wholesale reset, retaining the HR-V’s familiar formula while adding targeted exterior and equipment changes. The V and e:HEV RS gaining a 360-degree camera is a useful 2026 improvement. At the bottom of the range, the HR-V starts close to the Nissan Kicks e-Power, Chery O5 and Omoda Jaecoo J5 EV, while the higher trims cost more than those entry prices.
