2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Walkaround Video

2008 Lancer

For those who don’t want to be reading lengthy text about the new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer, you can have a look at these two walkaround videos where you’re guided through the features and specifications of the new car in an interview format. Mind you, this is the new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer, not the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X - so don’t be suprised by it having only 152hp and a 6-speed CVT gearbox. I do hope Mitsubishi Malaysia will bring it in soon, the last exciting thing in the C segment sedan market was the 2006 Honda Civic, we need something new for the new year!

    Hi Paul,

I am dissappointed that you didn’t consider the mazda 3 an exciting launch of a c-class car in 2006 despite your favourable review.

    Hi Paul,

Am surprised that you do not consider the launch of mazda 3 as exciting for the c-class cars in M’sia despite your favourable reviews against the Civic.

mikesim: i love the mazda3, but let’s face it, it’s not something “new” on our roads, plus honda’s pre-launch promotions and hype up was alot more extensive than ccb’s for the mazda3.

Anyone know (beside this new 2008 Lancer) if there is new sedan (all new, not facelift) coming soon (in a few months) to Malaysia ?

Looks like this will be the replacement of current lancer Rally Art in US, but the problem is the current lancer Rally Art is 160hp, this new one is 152hp.

mits27: this is the lancer, the lancer ralliart will have a 2.4 n/a engine

Paul: Well, that’s mainly becoz Mazda is only represented by CCB here. CCB has very limited budget. If Mazda has a principle here, things might be a lot different in terms of in-your-face promotional campaigns.

Cool to ride with..!love it..real good-looking design and goes with a sharp type of handling, with more modification done on it including the engine’s performance parts with much power that could be boost of.
