Volkswagen’s Cross virus has infected the SEAT brand – introducing the Seat Altea Freetrack Prototype based on the Seat Altea XL. To improve approach and departure angles, the Freetrack stands 185mm higher than the standard Altea XL. It’s also equipped with a more aggressive bodykit to invoke a sense of adventure.
On the inside, the cockpit has been re-arranged and turned into a 2+2 seater with sports bucket seats. The engine itself is the venerable 2.0 litre TFSI which is tuned to make 240PS, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. A Haldex differential sends power to all four wheels, making the Altea Freetrack not so much of a poser soft-roader but something which can do moderate amounts of off-roading.

Because……The earth weather had changed, soon the ice will melt and floods goes everywhere. Beware of WATER and the Normal road might be useless. OFFROAD is the only way to go in the near future!

i never thought that a seat altea will look good with the highen body matching those humongous wheels! the car is tiny!
hudoh !!
pls la everyone there…don't give nonsence comment of …front look like who.. side copy who…rear similar to who. do u think that the car manufacturer don't any designer to design their multi million project to roll out a new car?
don't be childish.. even human sometime born to have a similarity although they are born from different parents..
let's that headlamp for example, tell me how to design any other shape than what we have in the current existing design. shape is limited. some percentage of similarity will always happen.
OMFG….thats one fugly looking car.
The Altea is such a nicely designed car….
Irregardless of the looks or similiarity of it with other makes, the bottom line is that even with such small platform to work on, the car still looks aggresive and sporty. VAG have been very busy. Although this are bought-over plants, there's hardly any let down in progress, and churning out of new cars from the acquisited companies. Skoda, or Lamborghini, or Seat, all seems to be very busy making out new variants after another.
Well, if only our local manufacturers could change their mindset a bit.
let call tis a platypus
No such word as irregardless. It's either regardless or irrespective.
The car looks so cool, like a moon buggy. All I wanna know is, will Seat enter our market, when is it available and where can I get one?
Hey why not making the car amphibious instead, you know, the car that can be drive on water? Then with 4 wheel drive, increase ride height, ability to float on water should make this car an instant hit! Wohohohoho! This will give a whole new meaning of offroading! Then people will not have to worry about flash flood or what ever hahahaha!
looks like a tapir to me with nose being cut hahaha…
ugly… looks small compare to its size… hmmm
i mean.. compare to its height
look like…i dunno hw 2 describe it…
look 2 compact to drive…
many suv drivers nvr drive offroad….
