Here is a video of a Caterham Seven driven by Ken Evans going up the Loton Park hillclimb route. Driving at such speeds in what is essentially a big go-kart with a car engine is exciting. Video after jump.

It's available in CBU, CKD & Starter Pack. You can buy Starter Pack of main bodyshell/chassis and add component packages like suspension, windscreen, carbon parts, wheels, weather equipment, etc. Colin Chapman's finest design, IMHO!
I've sat in one and it's VERY, VERY compact. If your waist size is above 35 you might have to forget it. You drive LOW to the ground and can look out at motorcyclists knees buzzing by your head. Even the windscreen is probably about the same height as the computer screen you're looking at right now!
The Brits are awefully proud of their Caterhams, unfortunately the best Cats are those running on Japanese bike engines. They still need some help from their WWII foe. Pity them…
Actually the bike-engined Caterhams (Honda Blackbird by Caterham & Fireblade by James Whiting Sevens) are long gone … (Probably a knee-jerk reaction to Westfield). Currently the thing to go with is a Cosworth Ford Duratec based powerplant.
Narrow roads, elevation changes, twisty bends, plenty of excitement!
