Land Rover Defender X-Tech Limited Edition

Land Rover Defender X-Tech Limited Edition

Those of you who think the Land Rover Defender is cool will love this, the X-Tech Limited Edition revealed at the Brussels Motorshow.

Going on sale in UK from March, the X-Tech is available in Zermatt Silver with a contrasting Santorini Black finish to the roof and wheel arches. It’s also fitted with unique gloss black 16-inch “Saw Tooth” alloy wheels to create a sense of “raw utilitarianism”. The interior is available in Ebony and the seats offer the addition of leather side bolsters.

The Defender X-Tech is available in the 90 Hard Top Commercial derivative, with the full range of accessories also available to enhance capability and individuality. Powered by a 2.4-litre commonrail diesel engine with 360 Nm, the latest Defender boasts effortless towing and enhanced on-road performance.

Fancy one? Land Rover Malaysia carries the Defender 110 Double Cab that’s locally assembled, making it relatively affordable. It’s the “pick-up” version powered by the same Puma engine as the X-Tech, paired to a six-speed manual. Certainly one of the most unusual ways to spend RM150k. Click here to check it out.

Gallery of the X-Tech is after the jump. It’s the silver one with the black cabin and KL number plate.

Really classic, but just wonder why the material used on the body never change much. If some parts like the door hinge can be change to stainless steel it may looks much better instead of aluminium.

You obviously have no clue about LR Defender and its history.

  • I always like Defenders, but the addition of electronics is minus to me, I much preferred the simplicity and reliability of all mechanical operations.

looks good… especially the new front lights, signals and grille. even the interior looks good. looks aggressive. hopefully it makes it here. land rover has many special editions of the defender but most never come here.

the 3 door looks good enough for me. those with a larger family may prefer the 5 door wagon though.
