Ahead of its eventual debut in Tokyo, Subaru’s BRZ gets a final run-out in a Concept STI form. The STI-badged car will premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month. Features include STI 18-inch multi-spoke alloys, a large rear wing and a four-tailpipe exhaust. No mention of the powertrain on this one, so it could well be shod with the 2.0 litre NA four-pot boxer designed for the production car, which the Toyota FT-86 will wear as well.

The BRZ, Subaru’s all-new rear-wheel drive compact sports car, will be unveiled in production form at the Tokyo Motor Show two weeks after the Concept STI does the LA run. The BRZ Prologue, which set the initial tone, was seen in Frankfurt.

  • Good for Subaru to focus on contemporary designs. So far they makes great cars but don’t know much to sell them.

Anyway, Lotus is doing recalls on some models. Pls read here…Article from LUBE REPORT (http://www.imakenews.com

It is widely understood that the Flat 4 engine fitted on the Subaru BRZ will be more powerful than the version found on the Toyota FT-86, which could also mean it will be a turbocharged version. But normally, it will be difficult for a Flat 4 engine configuration to achieve max rpm potential as that of In Line 4 engine configuration , I’m thinking that the 197 bhp engine on the FT-86 is the best that Subaru could get out of normally aspirated route. So to achieve a reliable 250+bhp, it could well be a turbocharged Flat 4 on the BRZ..

perhaps the same style like the imprezas, so the brz won’t b in the same category as the GT-86
