If the idea of winning an all-expense paid trip to Italy to visit Maranello, the home of Ferrari, sounds like music to your ears, then you’ll want to be reading on.

It’s called the Shell Helix Global Promotion, and a veritable basket of goodies awaits five lucky grand prize winners – the Italian job, in this case, isn’t just limited to Maranello, but includes shopping in Milan and catching the Italian Grand Prix at Monza as well.

The two-tier contest, which runs from March 15 to May 31, is open to customers who purchase a four-litre pack of Shell Helix Ultra fully synthetic motor oil or from the Shell Helix HX7 synthetic technology range, which includes the HX7, HX7 E and HX7 Diesel.

In the first tier, customers have to count the number of Shell Helix words in an image on the entry form and submit their entries at selected Shell stations, authorised workshops or by mail with proof of purchase.

The second tier will see 15 lucky finalists take part in the fun-filled Shell Helix Challenge in July, where the five eventual winners will then get to embark on a trip of a lifetime.

Last year, four lucky Malaysians were among 200 Shell Helix customers from more than 20 countries who had the privilege to enjoy the ‘fastest 48 hours of their lives’ in Abu Dhabi after winning the 2011 edition of the contest.

The programme included a VIP visit to the famous Ferrari World Abu Dhabi theme park, a ride on the world’s fastest roller coaster, the Formula Rossa; dinner in the desert and tickets to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
