Nice to know everyone does the dress-up bit. Over in Australia, the Chevrolet Colorado – or the Holden Colorado as it’s known there – gets dressed up with the release of a special edition Thunder pack for four 4×4 Crew Cab variants, ranging over LX, LT and LTZ trim levels.
The Colorado Thunder is pretty much an inventory slap-on run, adding a nudge bar, towing package, front carpet floor mats, one-piece rear carpet floor mat, bonnet protector, slimline weather shields, bundling together all the most popular Colorado accessories in Australia, in one pack. A soft tonneau cover (for three of the four variants) and Thunder badging completes the identification of the version.
No other alterations to the 2.8 litre Duramax engine, or to the available transmissions, a six-speed auto and a five-speed manual.
