The Infiniti Q50 has been launched in Japan as the Infiniti Skyline, and the car will begin rolling out to Nissan dealerships in Japan from February 2014.

Yes, the car has an Infiniti badge, but it will be sold at Nissan dealerships in Japan. The Skyline nameplate was used by Nissan with the previous-generation anyway, while Infiniti called it the G sedan.

Only one engine will be available in Japan – the 3.5 litre V6 mated to an electric motor for a maximum power of 364 PS. Interestingly, the previous-generation V36 Skyline will continue to be sold in three grades – 250 GT, 250 Type S and 250GT FOUR.
