Land Rover Discovery XXV Edition – Disco turns 25

LR Discovery XXV-08

Land Rover has unveiled the Discovery XXV Special Edition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Discovery nameplate. The special edition is based on the latest Discovery with new looks and tech, announced in September 2013.

The XXV Special Edition comes in a choice of four exterior colours – Causeway Grey, Santorini Black, Fuji White, and to mark the jubilee, Indus Silver. It also features Narvik Black grille surrounds and mirror caps, and Dark Atlas features on the grille and fender vents. Silver full-length roof rails, body-coloured handles and a stainless steel bumper accessory tread plate complement the exterior.

Also featuring XXV badging on the front door and tailgate, this Disco rides on newly designed 20-inch five-split-spoke forged alloys in a light polished-silver finish.

The XXV Special Edition builds on the Discovery’s already rich HSE spec, so places like the fascia, instrument panel binnacle and door top rolls are lined with Windsor leather. There’s a choice of three interior leather colourway options: ebony, cirrus or dual-tone ebony/cirrus. Additional highlights include twist pile carpet mats, a leather-wrapped wooden steering wheel and subtle XXV embossing throughout.

  • Land Rover is rated the most unreliable car in the United Kingdom by all the surveys and all the warranty direct companies. Out of 100 cars, Land Rover came last every year for the past 10 years.

If Land Rover like this, imagine how our palat Proton is?
