Our European spies have managed to snag interior photos of the upcoming next generation Renault Koleos. It’s based on the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s C-segment platform which also underpins Nissan crossovers like the Nissan Qashqai, but the Koleos has its own bespoke exterior and interior.
Seen here is a dashboard that wraps around the driver seat. There’s also a leather-stitched grab handle for the passenger that will remind you you’re sitting in something that could possibly handle some light offroading. The infotainment screen is likely a touch screen, but it isn’t the new version that was introduced in the more expensive Renault Espace.
We also have another angle of the interior that gives u a peek of the instrument cluster. It appears to be a fully digital screen, but this might be an optional feature. Existing Renaults already use a very simple digital screen for the speedometer, so this is one level up from that, but while it appears high resolution from the sharpness of the “Park Assistant” text below, will it be as fancy as the one in the new Espace?
The outgoing Renault Koleos is currently on sale in Malaysia for RM185,888 OTR with insurance. It has a 170 hp, 226 Nm 2.5 litre four cylinder engine mated to a CVT transmission driving the front wheels.

It is as current as a VW interior.

This interior is not going to be the key to make this car the best seller that’s for sure.
