Mercedes-Benz has revealed details of its in involvement in the upcoming Jurassic World. Coming to cinemas next month, the movie is set to feature a variety of Mercedes vehicles, including the G-Class, G 63 AMG 6×6, Sprinter and the Universal Motor Gerät (better known as the Unimog).

The real (tri)star will however be the new GLE Coupe. Apparently, the scenes which featured the coupe in the movie were filmed in secrecy, since the vehicle had not yet been unveiled at the time of filming.

Mercedes’ association with the movie franchise spans back to 1997 and the second film in the series, when the Mercedes-Benz M-Class made its first official appearance in the The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

“Today, 18 years later, another Mercedes-Benz car will debut in a significant role in the latest installment of the Jurassic Park series – the new GLE Coupe,” said Mercedes’ vice-president of marketing Dr Jens Thiemer. He added that Mercedes is delighted to continue its partnership with the series and will promote the film and the cars in it with global marketing activities.

Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the original 1993 movie, Jurassic Park. In the new film, a new amusement park has opened, and genetic experiments on dinosaurs are being conducted, and the usual dire consequences and following Superorder-related mayhem can be expected. The film, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, premieres next month.

Yes you need a Mercedes in dinosaur world.

For human world, better stick with sushi cars, for the sake of comfort, fuel saving, reliable, cheap maintenance, RV and status.

High riding sporty vehicles ought to look ‘wide’, GLC is 2000mm which is good.

Female models need to be slim.
