Dongfeng-badged EV based on Fluence ZE in 2017

Renault and Dongfeng have announced that an EV based on the Renault Fluence ZE will be produced by the the two company’s JV in China. It will begin production in 2017 at the company’s Wuhan plant.

The Dongfeng Renault Automotive Company (DRAC) JV company’s electric car will be Dongfeng-badged and will be exclusive for the Chinese market.

The 50-50 joint venture was approved in late 2013. Dongfeng also has a Nissan JV in Wuhan operating for the past 10 years.

    When JV is a must it is a tongkat. When it is a tongkat, it is protection.

  • I would not buy this car as it is not halal. I rather get a Proton which I am sure is halal and made with clean hands.
