It looks like our European spy photographers have been hard at work again. These are the first images of the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulietta facelift that has been spotted in Italy. Its front façade seems like it got some styling inspiration from the all-new Giulia. The large air intake under the front grille looks a lot more dynamic and wider as well.
At the rear, the taillights don’t seem to have altered much from the current model, but the bumper seems to have a slight tweak in its overall design. Everything else at the rear seems to be quite similar to the previous model. It still looks quite appealing, all in all.
Apparently, the rumour mill suggests that important updates to this vehicle will include features such as ‘updated telematics and passive safety’, but it must be stressed that this is pure speculation at this point. Some quarters believe that a latest generation ‘Uconnect’ touchscreen infotainment system and new steering wheel could also be on offer.
In terms of the power plant on offer, it’s really anyone’s guess at this point. There are reports that predict this model receiving reworked engines from the T-Jet and MultiJet range.
