Touch ‘n Go reloads – GST will not be imposed

Please be informed that GST will NOT be imposed on Touch ‘n Go reload transaction starting 1 Jan 16. GST are applicable…

Posted by Touch 'n Go Malaysia on Wednesday, December 23, 2015

There’s a picture of a flyer currently shared on social media platforms, suggesting that 6% GST will soon be imposed on Touch ‘n Go reload transactions, beginning from January 1, 2016. But, don’t panic just yet, boys and girls. Touch ‘n Go Malaysia has officially announced that the flyer is indeed a hoax.

It further explains that “GST is applicable only for reload fee of RM0.50 to the respective reload agents, eg. retail merchants, petrol service stations, participating banks (for auto-reloads in Zing cards and reloads at ATM and CDM).” Meanwhile, free reload services are available at Touch ‘n Go Hubs, Touch ‘n Go SPOTs and dedicated reload lanes at various toll plazas.

What? Another hoax to make people pissed with the government? Looks like the DAP Red Bean Army dumbasses are going into overdrive after their 1MDB and RM2.6 billion hoo-haa all fizzled, with their lies all gradually being shot down one by one. Can’t believe they can’t outsmart Najib..

Najib can easily clear the air by suing WSJ. He seems to suing others but doesn’t want to sue WSJ ??? Let’s hope he sues WSJ and set the record straight …..

Doesn’t want to sue WSJ? LOL, guess you’re not connected nor do you know anyone who’s connected to the going-ons, huh..

For instance, how do you sue an organization who refuses to confirm nor deny that they stand by an article that they have published, and is trying to pass the buck in the manner of “the article is purely the opinion of the author”?

WSJ is using this delaying tactic by not confirming that they stand by it, and that they have done the necessary investigations. Only if they can commit to it in a written response can a legal action proceed in the US, hence the reason why the government is considering taking legal action against WSJ from Malaysia and not in the US, due to this chicken shit delaying tactic.

Too bad that the majority of Malaysians are just dumb folks that believe everything they read from PR hook line and sinker. Ignorance does indeed fuel political expediency.

    • For once I think there’s no more modal to shoot Najib anymore since 1 Mdb issue is winding down and AK is clearing the debts as we speak. Donation otoh is a benefit to the Gov unlike giving Sabah to pinoy FOC.
Desperate times calls for desperate slander I guess.

That’s the trouble with Malaysians. The third-world mentality means that Malaysians are extremely narrow-minded and take things personally based on their fixed set of beliefs. Their support for political parties borders on religious, in which they will worship their political idols no matter what. Their hatred for a character that they don’t like is absolute and unconditional, no matter how many facts surface thereafter to clear that person’s name. And more importantly, their memories are short and their laziness to dig deeper for the truth is extreme.

Tun M started all the unsubstantiated rumours about RM42 billion “disappearing”, and RM2.6 billion from it went into Najib’s account. Now he’s saying that those are what he’s been told. There has been no evidence. But, the people believe it because of the hatred against Najib. So, somehow, Tun M could never lie, although he’s the one who said Anwar punched himself in the eye during the black eye incident of 1999..

Even after 1MDB has been scrutizined by the PAC and auditor-general, with the audited accounts being presented to show that no money is missing and that the main issue is overpaid assets by the previous management, there are still people believing in the “songlap” and “wang hilang” stories.

People believe in Sarawak Report when they came out with the shoddy flowcharts connecting Najib to stolen 1MDB money, but how come no one believed Sarawak Report when they also published stories that contradicted these recent events earlier? Sarawak Report was the one that reported that the Saudi prince al-Turki was the one who donated US$700 million to the Malaysian government into a trustee account under Najib’s name. And yet, people still believe that it was money stolen from 1MDB and placed into Najib’s savings account.

No wonder Malaysia is going to the dogs. The rakyat are too freaking stupid and incapable of critical thinking.

Shot down? You are definitely mistaken and misled into thinking the people love the present government. ..We are just waiting for the right moment for our anger ,frustrations , disbelieve , hatred and vengeance to be unleashed on the deserving cohorts of politicians ….utter idiocy. ..

All these events had been known to the upper corridors of power for years, they were just wondering how long before the common rakyat would know of it. Never in their wildest estimates that the facts will be turn into stories and doubts ….we are the poor suffering sods who have to pay for all these crimes in years to come…and hopefully in 50 years or so a newer and smarter generation of rakyat would emerged to salvage whatever is left of our once great nation…

Who said anything about people loving the present government? The people are just dumb pawns being manipulated by PR, but they think they’re agents of “people’s power”. The anger and frustrations have manifested in numerous street demonstrations that resulted in zero change, and meanwhile the Opposition can’t even get their act together. Almost 8 years of ruling among the richest states in Malaysia, and PR has not transformed society a single bit.

FYI, I was a personal friend of some PR MPs and I was even with them on the campaign trail. I know what they used to do, and what they’ve done ever since coming into power, and what they did with their previous cronies and their current cronies.

And it puzzles me as to why the bulk of Malaysians who, even when being told about the ugly truth behind these guys, can just brush it off as nothing, as if PR politicians deserve to be cats with 99 lives and subjected to a lower moral standard than what we hold BN up to.

Just wait till any of you get a taste first-hand about how vindictive the PR politicians and their cronies are when you refuse to play ball with them regarding “donations” and “contributions” to the opposition. They won’t even think twice about smashing your rice bowl and making sure your businesses can’t survive in the areas that they govern anymore. It’s far worse than what it was under BN.

Anyone who thinks that PR are fighting for a better Malaysia are total morons.

Finally, an educated cybertrooper who can write and articulate ideas properly. Maybe BN has hope if they can recruit and train more donkey kongs.

Anyways, TNGo if they feel they deserve more money by all means hike as necessary. It’s not like us rakyat can do anything.

Agree. They take your money in advance but cannot even pay the reload agent the 50 sen fee but pass it on to the consumers. A bloody disgrace.

If wanna charge 10% service also acceptable as a mean of maintenance for these machines but cant they absorb the 6% gst? Come on… 6% on say 40cents is like 2.4cents only. That also cant absorb?
