Mahindra has taken the covers off its new coupe SUV concept, the Mahindra XUV Aero, at the ongoing Delhi Auto Expo 2016. Based on the XUV500 SUV, the concept here previews a four-door coupe SUV that the Indian automaker may soon put into production.
It all depends on how well the public receives it, says Mahindra. The vehicle’s styling, as photographed by our friends over at IndianAutosBlog, is influenced by the XUV500. New to it are a set of reworked LED daytime running lights, a sportier body kit, a lower stance and larger alloy wheels.
The rear-end and its sloping roofline haven’t appeared on any other Mahindra before. And just like the Hyundai Veloster, only one rear door is featured on this concept — on the left of the vehicle, to where sidewalks typically are.
Mahindra says that its XUV Aero here features a new 210 hp mHawk turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The Indian car maker also claims that its concept will be capable of performing the century sprint in under six seconds. That’s a seemingly challenging feat for the Indian SUV, given that a 217 hp Volkswagen Golf GTI goes from zero to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

Wow this car looks gorgeous
Looks like jacked up Gen2
Gen2 SUV gone retard.
… I’m not saying this because it ‘has my name’, but I think it’s a good effort. Actually saw this earlier on CarAdvice. If Mahindra can put this into production without changing it too much, then good news… there aren’t many new SUVs from India… but there’s so many of them from China. We only know the Great Wall M4, but there’s hundreds more that we have yet to see.
kalau Proton bikin SUV coupe ini mcm sure meletup. alternatif murah bg peminat X6 yg ramai d luar sana
