Anih Berhad, the concessionaire of the Karak Highway and East Coast Expressway (Lebuhraya Pantai Timur Fasa 1, LPT1) has announced a 10% discount for all users of both highways on July 6. The 24-hour discount will be for those who pay electronically via Touch n Go or Smart TAG.
The highway operator also released a travel time advisory (TTA) for those heading to the East Coast and back. The peak periods will be July 2-3 heading from KL to the east, and July 9-10 for the return exodus to the city. Anih expects traffic volume of 264,258 vehicles a day during peak periods, an 87% increase over normal days, which record around 141,000 vehicles. Click on the TTA table above for a better view.

Good, at least give discount on the stop for drivers who use TnG, unlike some cheapo pathetic “disocunt” given by PLUS which requires the motorists to claim back at their office later.
