The facelifted Isuzu D-Max range was launched in Malaysia back in October 2016, which saw the introduction of a new range-topping Z-Prestige trim level. We now bring you a full gallery of the Z-Prestige Urban Premium, which is one of three different themes offered for the trim, the other two being Adventure Rugged and Street Rugged.
The Z-Prestige Urban Premium comes with a body colour known as Silky White Pearl, along with 18-inch six-spoke alloy wheels finished in silver. Other standard items on the exterior include a sports bar and flatbed cover.
Inside, the Z-Prestige receives the same equipment list as the D-Max Premium, so there’s an e-Lumax instrument panel (with multi-info display), automatic air-conditioning, double-DIN multimedia player (with eight-inch touchscreen display) and multi-function steering wheel. What sets it apart though, are the brown leather seats with black accents that are unique to the Z-Prestige Urban Premium.
If you’re curious about the other Z-Prestige models, the Street Rugged gets a Stallion Black Metallic body colour and black leather seats with silver accents. Meanwhile, the Adventure Rugged is painted with Velvet Red Mica and comes fitted with black leather seats (with red accents). Both come with the same kit list and 18-inch alloy design, the latter finished in grey instead.
The pick-up seen here comes with the 4JJ1-TCX 3.0 litre turbodiesel engine, which outputs 177 PS at 3,600 rpm and 380 Nm at 1,800 to 2,800 rpm. Also available for the Z-Prestige trio is the smaller 4JK1-TCX 2.5 litre turbodiesel mill with 136 PS at 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1,800 to 2,800 rpm.
Regardless of which engine chosen, a five-speed automatic is the only transmission choice available, plus a four-wheel drive system. The system is controlled via the Terrain Command Select Dial located on the centre console.
In terms of safety, the D-Max range comes as standard with dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist, hill start assist (HSA), traction control, and electronic stability control (ESC). Almera aircon?
Refinement, excellent tractability and impressive off-road capability. The Hilux 6-speed Super ECT auto.
Rubbish pickup. Refinement go for Navara, offroad go for Dmax or Ranger, safety go for Triton. Bully pipu on road then go for Hilux
Haha u right bro….
Reminds me of the days of the Isuzu Panther in Indonesia.
So urban…why no option for lowered suspension, big wheels and low profile tyres.
Get a crossover if u want all those, not a pickup
