The venerable Porsche 911 range gains a new variant with an added touch of exclusivity in the form of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive. This is a limited-run model, with just 500 units slated for production, and gains uprated performance to go with its revised aesthetics.
Starting from the 911 Turbo S as its base, the Turbo S Exclusive is powered by a 3.8 litre biturbo flat-six engine producing 607 hp, with 750 Nm available on tap from 2,250 rpm to 4,000 rpm. Output is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as before, now propelling the Turbo S Exclusive from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 200 km/h in 9.6 seconds and a speed of 330 km/h.
Unique design cues include the exclusive Golden Yellow Metallic paint finish, while the bonnet, roof, and side skirts are made of carbon-fibre. The car features unique, central-locking 20-inch wheels finished in black feature Golden Yellow Metallic paint applied with a new laser technology, and it brake calipers are also available in black with the Porsche logo in Golden Yellow Metallic.
Around the back, the Turbo Aerokit rear decklid wing features, along with a new rear apron, carbon-fibre ram-air scoop and stainless steel exhaust system with a pair of twin tailpipes finished in black. The front wings feature Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur plates, and the Turbo S Exclusive is available in a range of exterior colours, in addition to Golden Yellow Metallic.
Inside, the 18-way adjustable sports seats are finished in two layers of perforated leather. The predominantly black leather interior features seam stitching and ‘Turbo S’ lettering on the headrests in contrasting Golden Yellow, while the Alcantara roof lining also features a set of Golden Yellow double stripes.
The included carbon-fibre interior package features fine copper thread integrated into the trim strips, while the passenger side shows limited-edition numbering. On both sides, the door entry guards come with illuminated ‘Exclusive Series’ lettering, finished in carbon-fibre. Topping off the 911 Turbo S Exclusive is the Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, also limited to 500 units.
