Those who live along the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) or frequent the highway, take note. The NPE will be temporarily closed this Sunday, from 2am to 11am.
The road closure is to make way for the IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge, which will take place this Sunday morning. The two part run – round one was held at the Besraya Highway in July – will have 10 km and 21 km distances, with the start and finish line at Sunway Pyramid. The half marathon will take runners all the way from Sunway to Kuchai Lama along the E10, before a U-turn back to where they started.
Away from the NPE, the Sunway area should be pretty congested as well this Sunday morning, as runners would have their cars parked in the area as well as the mall. Keep this in mind when thinking of where to go for breakfast/brunch.
As this writer would be part of the “problem” this Sunday, I’d like to apologise to you on behalf of my fellow idiots (smart people will be sleeping soundly at 3am, obviously) and the race organisers. Sorry for the inconvenience, “one year one time only.”
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
“One year one time only”? Screw you idiots! I can slap your face one time yearly also? My hand sakit also…
Looks like someone needs a marathon to wash out that toxicity.
U dun have to display whole world ur unhealthy lifestyle.
Hey how come I didn’t hear of this run?? Oh I am a cyclist… :)
Good luck, Danny. Show us your medals…
Good Luck Danny…Have a great run.
Hahaha… all the police need to do is to set up a roadblock as usual in front of Scott Garden and Jalan Puchong on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
No other way back. LOL
The bizarre world of self-importance. Once a year, I want to run on a highway until 11am on a Sunday. There’s FRIM? Bukit Gasing? Kiara? Templers? No. I want to run in urban Sunway. I want. You must understand because I want.
just go run in a stadium please if you want to marathon so badly. can go however many km you want. roads are for cars, please do not menyusahkan everyone else for your stupid hobby. thank you.
Yup because only in Malaysia we have marathons on the road. No other countries have this. Right? Right? Right?
yes that is indeed very true. oh why, malaysia?
well. they’re running a business here.not a charity.
