Lexus GS F and RC F 10th Anniversary limited-edition models go on sale in Japan – 15.5 to 17 million yen

Last year, Lexus celebrated the 10th anniversary of its high-performance division – F – by revealing two limited-edition versions of its GS F and RC F. Here they are, and both are now on sale in Japan, with the sedan being priced at 15.5 million yen (RM551,600), and the coupe at 17 million yen (RM604,981). In Malaysia, the GS F retails at RM1,070,300, while the RC F goes for RM786,900.

A 2UR-GSE 5.0 litre naturally-aspirated V8 powers both ‘10th Anniversary’ models, producing 477 PS at 7,100 rpm and 530 Nm of torque at 4,800 to 5,600 rpm. Drive goes to the rear wheels via an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic transmission.

While the powertrain is unchanged, Lexus did slap on a set of upgraded dampers as well as a titanium exhaust that should make the cars’ Active Sound Control pointless.

A matte grey paintjob is featured on both cars here, which is accompanied by a carbon-fibre exterior kit. Other items include 19-inch forged BBS wheels that house blue brake calipers, and come shod with 225/35 front and 275/35 rear profile tyres.

Inside, the GS F follows a blue, white and black theme, with this being very evident on the front seats. The steering wheel and gear knob are wrapped in blue leather with white contrast stitching, the former also with a 12 o’clock rim marking in white.

The seatbelts are also blue, as is the microsuede that covers a small section of the instrument panel. The same material in black, covers the armrests and the origami-inspired headliner. Meanwhile, the RC F is largely similar to the GS F, except the rear seats and safety belts are in black.
