Renault Clio R.S. 18 limited edition – only 10 units

The 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship kicks off this weekend in Melbourne, Australia, and to commemorate the moment, 10 units of a special edition Renault Clio R.S. will be made available to customers there.

Called the Limited Edition R.S. 18, the hot hatch is named after Renault Sport’s latest F1 racer and comes with a bevy of visual enhancements. This includes a unique F1-inspired livery that consists of a Deep Black paintjob, grey decals on the doors and roof, as well as Liquid Yellow highlights on the front apron, side skirts and wheel centre caps.

Inside, you’ll find numbered door sill plates, carbon-fibre style trim around the air vents and an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel. Other bits of equipment include leather upholstery and a Bose premium sound system.

The LE R.S. 18 is based on the Clio RS 220 EDC Trophy, with no change to what’s under the hood. A 1.6 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine continues to serve up 217 hp and 280 Nm of torque, with drive going to the front via a six-speed dual-clutch EDC gearbox.

Remap a civic 1.5 turbo and the output is identical to the clio RS.

You can also put in two more turbos to make it a triple. Then it can eat this Renault Clio for breakfast, yes? LOL.
